VALENTINE HOYA (C)- Hoya kerrii has unbelievably thick heart shaped leaves which grow to 5-15 cm long and wide. A very reliable bloomer it has tight bunches of attractive reflexed flowers that are white with a tint of lime green and change to pink with a maroon corona.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Priced at $8.90

An interesting Hoya from the Celebes, its flowers have pinkpetals with a red 
centre. Its leaves are very thick and dark green. This is a vigorous large

Hoya Collection No. 4 —

Various climates.   Uncommon Hoya...  

BIG MAC (W) Hoya magillivrayii

is a magnificent native Hoya with the largest of all the Hoya flowers, 
(3 inches) in diameter in clusters of 3-7.They are brilliant purple-red 
in colour, usually with a white centre and are fragrant. This one needs
 to be kept warm in winter, above 20C.  Filtered light.
Priced at $8.90 each 


HOYA 'RED BUTTONS'    (C)
Hoya publicalyx 'Red Buttons'

Each flower has a white fluff bordering its edges contrasting against the 
dark red of the flower itself and its bright centre. Loveley large clusters 
of velvety red waxflowers in spring and summer. Very hardy and can 
dry out a little between waterings. Needs to be under well lit hard 
shelter in winter in all climates except tropical where shadecloth is 
advisable.                                             Priced at $7.90

 

FUNGII (M)
Hoya fungii
- Emerald green foliage as well as its dark green veins 
leaves grow quite large and it have soft hairs.   Large flower clusters 
have up to 60 flowers and the individual flowers are a bit like Hoya 
carnosa's pink flowers although larger and more fuzz on the petals.
